  I'm a sucker for sushi, and whenever I'm travelling for work, I'm always looking out for a decent sashimi/sushi joint. Sushi Village had solid reviews, which had me curious. I opted in for the AYCE lunch option, which is ridiculously affordable at just $13, and they include a wide variety of special rolls and apps. That alone makes this place worth checking out. As far as quality goes, I got some nigiri, sashimi roll and spicy salmon roll. The rolls were quite good, but I gotta say, there's way too much rice in the nigiri and the sashimi is incredibly thin. Seemed fresh enough, but I had to remove a lot of rice. I told them they could charge me, but the waitress was nice and told me it's okay, which is why I'm keeping the 5 stars, for value and overall experience. Incredible deal.

  We came here for dinner, mostly because I was indecisive AF about where I wanted to eat. Since the S/O was annoyed w/ me... he said "F-it, I'm decide" (Disclaimer: about f---king time he made a decision instead of the 'where ever you want to eat babe'
  
  Moving along....
  
  He knows I love sushi so we came here.  The ambiance of the place was okay, the decor wasn't my favorite, but who cares? I came to eat.
  
  This place is untraditional buffet, which means you have a menu, pencil and sheet, that you check off what you want, so most things are made to order, especially the sushi.
  
  S/O order the fried scallops to start off with, they taste pre-package so not the best, he also had the hibachi shrimp & broccoli (which is cooked to order) and arrives in a small portion.
  
  I had the miso soup, which I loved so much I had two bowls and ordered sushi.
  
  Overall great dining experience and concept.
  Please keep in mind if you over order and do not finish you food, they will charge you!
  My s/o never wants to see sushi again (no one told him to be a greedy ass) but I think I will dine here again, if I'm in the area.

  This restaurant is my go to Sushi craving in Harrisonburg and it does not disappoint. Their AYCE Lunch menu includes a variety of appetizers, soups/salads, rice dishes (fried rice, Teriyaki, hibachi), and a copious amount of sushi options!
  
  In terms of service, there is never really any waiting time, and my table had almost always been catered to appropriately. There is one waiter there, I sadly forgot her name but she is the best as she is always understanding and friendly!
  
  If you want suggestions for what you will get there, feel free to look at my typical order.
  
  My typical lunch order includes:
  Shumai
  Vegetable Tempura
  Miso Soup
  
  Hibachi Steak/Shrimp/Vegetables (no rice)
  
  Spicy Salmon roll (no additional sauce)
  Crazy Tuna Roll (no sauce)
  Crazy Roll (my favorite lunch roll, no sauce)
  
  Tips:
  I ask for no sauce on my sushi as I tend to get a lot of appetizers as well as sushi, so asking for no sauce helps me avoid getting full early on and eat more. As well as no rice in the hibachi so that I don't get full while also eating great hibachi meats/vegetables!
  
  After going to Sushi Village many times in the past year (around 20 times honestly) I can say that it has stayed true and is the best bang for your buck and you will leave satisfied (and full)!

  Found this place near James Madison University (Harrisonburg VA). All you can eat sushi on Saturday. The wait was long but well worth it as the quality was good.
  
  Unlike other all you can eat sushi places that make to order, Sushi Village serving portions are good.
  
  Wait staff is good as well and made sure my drinks were full and were ready for my next order.
  
  I'll come back here when back in Harrisonburg.

  The service is horrible here. Every time I come here I instantly regret it. The servers are rude, they bring your parties food out at different times and they the kitchen takes 30 minutes to bring a party of 2's food out after your order. The food is good but they need new management and servers.
